THE LOCATION

The property borders onto the famous Sevens Creek Estate which has a huge history and is around 6,000 acres. It used to be home to the wonderful 1991 Melbourne Cup winner, Let’s Elope.

Dennis and Margaret Marks owned the property for about 15 years, and in that time built a Georgian-style homestead, a replica of the original. Other features of the property, which was first settled in 1835, are 5ha of renowned gardens, a blue stone coach house and stable complex, four other houses, a nine-hole golf course, a gothic-style chapel, ornamental lakes and creek frontage with a 5km driveway.
